Operations Management Room (OMR) -- NASA and other organizations
High-level management personnel not directly involved in the countdown are seated here.
This typically includes the associate administrator for space flight and members of the
Mission Management Council which he or she chairs, namely the directors of those NASA
centers with primary roles in the Shuttle program: Johnson Space Center, Kennedy,
Marshall Space Flight Center and Stennis Space Center. Also seated in the OMR are the
NASA administrator and his or her deputy.
